Ok I have a question. So far, I made an unscented one, a honey almond scented and a "love spell" (*puke*) scented one.

Now I thought it was safe to use the honey almond in the soap since it was one EO, the other was just a try. I'm going to mix them first on the coffee paper like someone suggested.

Now, the honey almond smells really really strong. Did I just use too much? (1.4oz/2lbs) or will is simmer down some.

The other one I just hate the smell. I kinda want to see what the recipe feels like but is it worth keeping for a month, smelling the funk?

I really just want to toss them.

What do you guys do when this happens?

If the honey almond doesn't simmer down a bit, you can always make another batch of pure unscented and toss the honey almond shreds in there for a lightly scented confetti soap.

The other one.....I'd see if the FO settles down or morphs into something you don't mind....sometimes they do. If not, you can always do the confetti trick or use it for cleaning.

Please tell me you mean honey-almond *FO* not EO.

And regardless, 0.7oz ppo is about right, tho some go lower and some higher.

it says honey almond natural eo blend so is that way too much? Maybe next time I should put a lot less.

I asked hubs if it was too strong and he said a little but not too bad. Maybe it's because I'm not an almond chic.
