deep fat fryer for melting MP?

Can a fat fryer be used for melting MP base? I'm a candle maker and that's the way I melt waxes. If kept on low, would it work for soap base?

It might, but I don't know how hot the base would get. M&P base doesn't like to be overheated.

I agree with Isg. You don't want the MP to over heat.

Personally I use a 10litre soup kettle you can get the to set and have a consent supply at hand candle melters are are not something I have considered
