I did a testing batch of DayStar FOs yesterday afternoon and am stunned that almost 24 hours later there is virtually no discoloration in about 20 FOs, many of which are Vanilla-based. I know that's not suffecient time to judge the final discoloration, but does anyone else have experience with DayStar FOs and know if they tend to discolor much and if it takes them some time to do so? If they stay close to their current shades, I am in heaven!

I've found that the notes along side of each fragrance description at Daystar are pretty darn accurate. They do an excellent job of testing/advising which ones are going to be heavy on the A or D.

Anything with vanilla WILL darken, sometimes in hours, other times in days or even a week.

About a week later they are finally discoloring. I'm so used to almost immediate discoloration that these threw me. Still, they seem to be discoloring less than others w/ vanillin. We'll see how they are after a month.
