Darn...wrong EO in batches

Has anyone ever made two batches at the same time and put the wrong scents in the wrong batch? I made one green batch and one peach batch yesterday. I just unmolded them and realized I put the mint fragrance blend in the peach color soap, which is supposed to be a botanical/citrus blend. They both smell great, but are the wrong color :cry:

oh yes!!

i put my measured out fo or the bottle in the mold sitting there so it reminds me which one to add next.

It happens to everyone. I always keep everything for each batch as close as possible. 2 batches, keep everything for each batch together. Labels help too. If you're working with colors then you could also color code with colored tape.... so if you had a green batch, you could wrap the EO bottle with green tape. Just a thought.

Oh bummer. I get all confused and stressed when I make more than one batch at a time.

which is why i only make one at once.

too much going on and you really need to be giving it your attention (IMO)...

but I might be supervigilant about it lol...

I am sticking with one from now on. There really is "too much going on". It's just not worth it. Fortunately, these can still be used, it's just not the color I wanted for each batch.
