Do people ever combine these? Or is it a one or the other type of situation? I'm thinking of trying them in various butters and lotions bars etc, and reading up as much as I can on them before I do - so nobody freak out. :wink:

::back to the power read::

TIA!

I don't know anything about IPM but I just got some cyclo to use in a whipped body frosting.....maybe wait until everyone wakes up....someone may have really good info on either/both? Here is what my supplier says about cyclo ( http://aussiesoapsupplies.com.au/Cyclom ... r-717.html )

"Cyclomethicone is a base fluid and volatile carrier suitable for use in a number of personal care products.

• Excellent spreading
• Imparts soft silky feel to the skin
• Leaves no oily residue or build up
• Detackification
• Non-greasy

Our Cyclo may be used alone or blended with other cosmetic fluids to provide a fluid base for a variety of ingredients. Useful in Skincare and Haircare formulas, cyclo makes an excellent fragrance carrier."

Tanya :)

Okay, "detackification" totally sounds made-up. lmao.

"I am now going to detackify the emulsion of the poopipackadoodle..."

(and thank you, T) :wink:
