Stuck in my head
I wasn't sure what to expect when I went to uncover my soap this morning, but I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. The colors are much more vibrant and vivid in RL than in the pic. They are a bit soft so will have to sit probably a week to 2 weeks before I clean them up and transfer them to the curing rack.
First - in the mold uncut

Second - out of the mold - cut but still not apart

These next three are the cut soaps are separated and ready to be cleaned up (leveled, beveled, so on) I have 3 just to show the contrast and how each soap is not only different from the bar next to it, but aslo once turned over, is different than itself.
Oh, the flat is the bottom of the soaps. Not very appealing, but eh, I still like them. LOL

Let me know what you guys think!
I'm happy with them. Happier than I thought I would be.

Wow I love it. I gotta get a slab mold

I love my slab molds. And my big honkin knife that I cut the soap with. :)
I still use my log molds, but only when I'm making a plain jane soap. LOL

Thank you all so much. I love them a lot! I keep going back into my shop just to look at them. LOL
And to smell them. The scent is Melon Mist - and before pouring I could smell cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew and a hint of strawberry as well - now it seems all I can smell is the canteloupe. But that's okay, it may come back... Even if it doesn't, it smells GREAT. :)
So, thanks again!

Great colours, it turned out great, the trouble with soap is what you pour is not always what you get.

Thread hopping here! Wow, what a different result from the just poured pics! That's part of the fun of soap making - seeing whatcha get when it's all said and done. The colors are so vibrant!
