Four week minimum for me.

My favorite soaps are 3-6 months old. Not so old that the scent is starting to fade, but well-cured. I have used some that are well over a year old and they are fantastic.

Uncut logs would be fine WRT saponification but not evaporation as there is less surface area.
 
I am still very new to cold process soap making, but the difference between my first batch at 1 week and at 2.5 weeks of curing is incredible. It was definitely more harsh and drying earlier on in the cure. I am excited to reach the 4 week mark as people seem to think the 4-6 week mark is a good time to cure.
