i've been thinking about changing the image of my company, and i've been fooling around with this wesite for 2 days and it is really fascinating!

you can create your own logo, business cards, letterhead, etc and download it. and really make it personal!

i haven't gotten that far yet, but i believe you could even design labels, wraps and tags, and other business related items, too.

check it out:

www.logomaker.com

your thoughts on this?

If you click on "how it works" it tells you it's 49 dollars to purchase the logo. I have played w/ that site before. It's a good tool to help you make some decisions whether you buy from the site or not you get to experiment.

thanks, tabitha! :D

that doesn't seem like a bad price, really. (how did i miss that?)

you sure get a lot of stuff to play with!

I use Xheader - to create a logo or banner from scratch it is totally amazing and free. You can upgrade, but I have found no need. With all the effects you can get once you have got the hang of it anyone can create professional looking logos or banners.

Its so great isn't it.

Try the dragging and dropping an image, then use the transparency on it, then add text. The effects are amazing. Some of the banners I have created with this package look like you wouldn't believe you could do yourself. I was asked to do a website design after someone saw what I had done on my own website. I was mortified - I couldn't design my way out of a bag lol.

Happy xheader-ing. :)

(I adore that kitty avatar you know - I sit and watch him for ages - I'm so sad. I have 2 yorkshire terrier puppies - would love to make an avatar of them licking like that. Would never get any work done, would just watch them all day).

I bought my logo from another site that uses logomaker and it was $39.
I haven't a clue how that ended up working... but it works.

I am happy with it!

I am going to check out that other link though - thanks!

If I remember the name of the other site I will be back to post..
