CPOP out of mold?

I was wondering if it's possible to CPOP after the soap has been unmolded. I make mostly salt bars and my mold will not tolerate the oven. If I unmold as soon as they set (few hours), can I then pop them in the oven and CPOP them?

I have forced gel in some batches that only gelled partially, after they had cooled for a day, but I don't know of CPOPing outside the mold. When gels the soap is pretty liquidy. I'm not sure it would retain its shape. But there's only one way to know for sure...

I think by the point that it's unmolded, it will have already gelled. If not, I may have a very nice smelling, but soapy oven! lol
