So I made a batch of rose patchouli soap, 31 oz with the following recipe
10.85 oz Olive pomace
6.2 palm
6.2 Coconut oil
3.1 cocoa butter
1.86 castor
1.79 avocado oil
1 sweet almond oil
4.2 lye
7.5 oz H20
3 oz coconut milk
I added some Kaolin clay and used titanium dioxide mixed with some glycerine, I also added about 1.5 tbsp of sodium lactate solution.
I had done a mounded top and put it in the oven at 170 degrees, I know that coconut milk can sometimes overheat but I have used this amount before with no issues. After about an hour I checked on it and the top had collapsed and the soap didn't look like it separated but everything was extremely liquidy and seemed almost melted. I took it out of the oven and put it in the freezer, is that ok and will the soap survive without rebatching?
