CP Soap molds - how long to wait

Ok so I made some soap in poop soap molds, Id guess each cavity to be roughly 4 oz of soap. I normally HP and can tell when the soap is ready to unmold but I am lost when it comes to how long to wait for CP. Can you give me a little guidance?

I made some poo mould soap for Easter. Unmoulded one after 24 hrs, it came out rough and left some soap behind, so left it 4 days and then unmoulded, better but not great. Haven't made any since, will let you know how I go next time around with this mould.

When the soap is firm enough and doesn't stick to the mold when you try to pull it away (I assume these are silicone molds). The cheese analogy - when it feels like pressing your finger onto a block of cheddar. The amount of time can vary by a lot with individual cavity molds. If they didn't gel, it takes a lot longer than if they did. And the shape probably will affect the time as well. My individual cavity molds that are round or rectangle and about 1.25" thick and have gone through gel phase can be unmolded in 12 hours usually. My usual recipes have roughly 60% hard oils/butters.

I haven't used a poop mold, so I can't offer any advice about that.

I stuck mine in the freezer for a bit when I made it. It seemed to stay softer in that mold for some weird reason. I left it for 2 days then threw it in the freezer.

Yay they are out! Luckily it got cold here (50f) and because the heats not on yet, it helped things along. Thanks for all of your replies!
