I made a batch on 3/18, not hard ,yet coc, palm, olive, castor
another batch same recipe except added shea and its hard already!made that one 3/24, does shea make that much harder faster, worried about my round pvc ones that arent hard yet.

Okay, well your lye and water amount look good. You should have a pretty nice bar of soap. Shea butter (and any butter, lard, and some hydrogenated oils) add hardness to the bar. One reason for the other batch's softness could be gel. If it didn't get a full gel it could take awhile to get hard. Make sure you're insulating properly. Next time you make it, you may want to try a water discount. Instead of using 10.4 oz of water, perhaps try 8.63 oz of water (if you're absolutely positive that your EO or FO will behave). Using this amount of water creates a 34% solution which will make harder a little faster.
