You can also try rubbing a piece of aluminum foil all over the bottle, making sure of course to have NO contact with any lye.

@AliOop Sorry to be on the slow side, when you say all over do you mean inside and outside? Like before I fill the container? I'm on my last small container of lye and probably will do a refill within a month.
