Hi there. I'm trying to start a UK business selling soaps and body scrubs etc but also raw materials such as pure oils and butters.
I know I need cosmetic safety assessments for soaps but do I need them for selling raw/pure ingredients such as "100% pure sweet almond oil?"
I'm unsure if I need a cosmetic safety assessment for selling this. I plan on writing something like "Aromatherapy/Massage Oil" on the label. Since I'm selling it to be applied to the skin is it classed as a cosmetic, or just a vegetable oil?
Thanks!
