Coriander Powder

I want to make a Bergamot/Coriander scented soap. Should I buy the Coriander EO or can I safely use the Coriander Powder you cook with?? And since it is in powder form, how much would I use in a 3 lb mold??

Coriander Powder will not provide any scent to your soap. You would need an EO or FO.

Anyone use Coriander Powder that you cook with to scent your soap with?? I was going to make a blend of Bergamot and Coriander. How much Coriander would I use?? It would be a lesser scent than the Bergamot.

I use a lot of coriander powder to cook (me being from India..... that is an essential spice in my spice rack) and I love it but honestly, I would not like soap with that scent even if it is mixed with bergamot..... but that's just me! !!!!!!
