I have a cookie cutter that I’m thinking about using as a stamp on the surface of a bar I’m designing. Has anyone here done that? Do you have any tips, or photos of yours? I was wondering if I could paint it with some mica and use it like a stamp.
Thank you. The cc I’m using is quite detailed. So I’m thinking the cling wrap would be a good idea! But I’m also wondering if/how i could add some mica to make the design pop even more.I do that! I have a small duck-shaped cookie cutter. I treat it just like any other stamp. I lay a piece of plastic wrap on the soap and press the cutter gently into it. If the soap is too hard for that, I lightly tap it with a mallet. I have never tried it with mica. This is a plastic cutter, but I have done the same thing with a metal one.

That’s exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!The color of this soap isn't great for this, but it's the only one I have that had been "stamped."
The first picture is the soap stamped with a cookie cutter. Second is right after I applied the mica/alcohol mixture. Third is after cleaning the excess away.
I may have to try to dip the cookie cutter in the mica though because it’s a complicated design. The color of this soap isn't great for this, but it's the only one I have that had been "stamped."
