I would just like to add that a water discount will help your bars to harden faster. It will also accelerate trace.

CP soap, even if kept dry between uses, will tend to dissolve faster than store-bought detergent-based soap like Dove or Dial. However, CP soap has benefits that synthetic detergent bars do not. In my opinion, it's worth the tradeoff.

@judymoody yes I have gotten some great advice and help and I agree about the benefits being worth the trade off .. I love using my homemade soaps and feel the difference in my skin, it is amazing!
