in one of the you tube channels in india they said that in commercial soaps they separate the glycerine that comes as a result of saponification.is it so and why

The removal of the glycerin from the soap is inevitable due to the specific way soap is usually made on a large scale -- it's different than the methods we use.

The recovery of the glycerin for sale was the outcome of turning a waste product into a valuable byproduct. I'm not entirely sure a no-glycerin soap lasts longer, but I understand no-glycerin soap is easier to form into bars after the glycerin is removed.

Thanks for your reply
Do you mean the soap we make is better than the commercial ones.

To make the soap last longer and for use in other products.
Many thanks for your reply and do you mean that the soap we make without removing glycerine is the better one

Yes, our soap is better. Commercial soap also uses a lot of man made products and the like. Most of the things we use in ours aren't man made, they're natural. My husband loves my soaps above the commercial ones. They are much softer, more moisturizing, and rinse cleaner.

I disagree with this comment. What we use is still processed or made in a lab. So not natural. It’s certainly better than store bought for most as you can pick your ingredients to suit you. Natural comes straight from the earth and isn’t processed.

Soap without glycerin is not better, not worse; it's simply different. I've made it myself. It cleans and rinses just fine and it is as mild as the same soap with glycerin.

As far as whether handmade soap is better than commercially made soap, that also depends. If you like the commercial soap better, then it's better. If you prefer the handmade soap, then that one is better.

There is no right/wrong, better/worse, good/bad here. It is all about preferences. I prefer my handmade soap because it is milder to my skin than most of the commercial soaps/cleansers I have tried. But that is my preference. It is not true for everyone.
