Coffee scrubby bar....

Hi. First attempt at a coffee scrubby bar. Made a pot of coffee. Poured myself a cup. Froze the rest. Added used coffee grounds, ground oatmeal. Also 4 oz almond cooking milk. To compliment almond fragrance. Only con, should have ground coffee up finer. I like everything else about this.

I've found that espresso grind is the perfect amount of scrubby without being scratchy like drip coffee maker/medium grind coffee. I actually prefer Cafe Bustello because it is so cheap and easy to find around me.

I made mine out of 100% coconut oil for my granddad so he'll stop using all the good soap I give him to wash car grease off his hands with.

Did you use the frozen coffee in it? The actual coffee liquid?

I use that too because I never tried Pilon and I sometimes just don't have the instant available.

I’m going to try my first coffee soap tomorrow. I’m going to use Fresh Brewed Coffee Worlds Best FO from NG. How much grounds PPO do you use? And can you use fresh grounds? Or is used best?

Hi. I've read used grounds are best. Used 5 tsp. Grounds for 100 oz. Of oils. Not sure if theres a hard set rule for adding grounds. More a " that's enough" kinda thing. Let us know how you made out. Good luck.
