Coconut Oil and the hottest day in England

I don't normally pay much attention to the weather forecast in England; it's always cold, wet and dank. But today I was informed that our 90 degree heat was the hottest day since 2006 not by the BBC, but instead by a rather ordinary bag of coconut oil that I foolishly left near the window. The melted oil seeped from it's loosely notted bag and settled very nicely on the bottom of the large plastic crate that holds my oil and gear, and I suspect was happy to coat each and every surface on its way down.

So that happened.
