I am currently using coconut oil 92. I originally got it because I thought that for the summer and my soaps this would be better because of the higher temperature used to melt it.. However I have begun to wonder if 92 makes less lather or if it is more drying than 76. Any ideas?

The difference is how refined the oil is. 96 degree would be a harder soap, but less nourishing (won't have the "impurities" that are vitamins and nutrients). This is because it's been broken down to a more base oil. At the same time, it will make a more firm soap.
