Coconut acetate?

I thought I was buying coconut oil when it turns out to be coconut acetate! It is a clear 'liquid" and smells like coconuts.

Can this be used in CP soap? I looked it up and all I can find is stuff on Vit E and nothing about using it in soap. I can find tech terms for 'acetate' but really nothing on coconut acetate.

IF I can use it - how much do I use?

Ecuador is a challenge to say the least to replace all of the 'Stuff" I had in the states LOL

From what I can find coconut oil amine acetate is used as a soap surfactant in pesticides. I'm afraid I can't offer any yeahs or nahs on using it in regular soap. It does not appear to be toxic, however there has not been much testing done on it.
