I was wondering how much clay ppo and when to add it. Does it suspend through the soap evenly or is it sludgey at the bottom? Thanks :D

when using clay- I add mine to a portion of the soap at light trace- and stick blend it in well-
I do an "in the pot swirl" with it

I usually use the clay as a color swirl- and add maybe a tablespoon to 3-4 cups of the light traced soap mixture-I adjust to get the color I want.

I have never had it clump or fall to the bottom- it stays well suspended in the soap mixture.

I just made one with clay, I would say I added about 1 tbs per pound. I didn't measure really, just kept adding. I had a couple of tiny clumps in the actual bars but no one else but me probably would have noticed :) added at trace, and it blended in just fine.

I just made pink clay soap a few days ago in hp. I added 2 tsp ppo after the cook. The bars are lovely in colour and to bathe with.
