Yep. Mix your clay with just enough of your recipe water to make it smooth then add it after you add your oils and water together (before trace) so you'll have plenty of time to stick-blend it in. If you're going to swirl your clays, it requires a little different technique, but is worth the extra effort.
Oh yes! I forgot, this is my all-time favorite mask. I use french green clay, pink or white bentonite:
couple tablespoons of clay
a tablespoon of honey
*fresh squeezed lemon juice (*just add a few drops at a time, stirring well between additions until you get a smooth mask).
*Note: if you have real dry skin, add a couple drops of your favorite oil. I like jojoba for stuff like this
