I am looking for some more citrus FO's because my family loves everything citrusy. Southern Soapers has quite a few and I just want to know if anyone can tell me anything about these:

Fresh Apricots
Clementines
Cranberry Yuzu
Gragonfruit Acai
Juiced Lemons
Japanese Yuzu
Strawberry Mojito

Thank you.

Better hurry before they are completely gone, but....

I have tried the following and all smell good oob, but I have yet to soap them:

Dragonfruit Acai - really, really good & my favorite of those you listed. Not sure how to describe it, but it's a really beautiful blend of fruity scents. Not too sweet, not too tart. Just good and spring/summery.

Cranberry Yuzu - also very nice. Has a hint of sweet cranberry with tart yuzu. Very nice blend.

Strawberry Mojito - a nice, mellow strawberry (not overly sweet like most strawberries) w/ a hint of something more. Not strong on lime, but very nice.

I think they still had it this morning and it's not really a citrus, but is another good fruity scent is "Guavaberry." It's smells kind of tropical w/ a hint of berries and a hint of something citrus-like. You might like it as well.

If you're looking for something that's a potent/tart citrus, I'm not sure these are great. They're more on the fruity side w/ some citrus notes I think. Then again, my nose isn't too good and I'm terrible at describing scents! That said, they are all really good fruit scents that I would definitely recommend...at least smelling them oob. Who knows in soap? :?

Good luck and let us know what you think it you purchase any of them!

Thank you so much for your reply. They still have Guavaberry, thank you for the suggestion.

I have a few fruity/citrusy Fo's that I use - Citrus basil, Lemon verbena (this is my all time favorite but I am getting bored with it lol), Mango, Blueberry festival, Blackberyy patch - although some of them I used only in lotions or liquid soap.
Right now, my favorite for lotion is Earl Gray Tea.

I have soaped the yuzu and cranberry yuzu. They don't smell that different to my nose. Both are nice but I like the straight Yuzu a bit better.

I bought the juiced lemons but haven't made anything with it yet. I love the smell of lemons and it's great but it is NOT a sweet smell. To me smells just like lemon juice. Nice, crisp and tangy.

I was thinking of combining some with Peaks Strawberry Rhubarb, which is just too sweet for my taste. When I hold the bottles under my nose, it seems to be a great balancer for those overly sweet scents..

BTW I ended up ordering Japanese yuzu, Juiced lemon, Guavaberry and Dragonfruit acai. I should get my order on Monday....I hope I will like them all. Thank you for your input everybody!

I made a a soap with the juiced lemon, which smells great! Nice a lemony and not sweet. It behaved really well. I didn't gel because it seems like citruses hold on better without the heat. CAn't wait to hear what you think of your scents on Monday.
