Here's the soap I just unmolded that contains remnants of several citrus F.O. and E.O., dried orange and lemon peel and oats.

It smells heavenly!

My soap is just one day old and my earliest indication is that it did. I will know more as it cures. It's such a light scented zest that I don't know that it will lend much more than scrubbies to the final product. But, for now, it smells great.
 
Lovely, looks great!!
My one attempt at a citrus soap ended up with gelly moosh that still to this day hasn't hardened up. I live in hope.
Did you dry the zest first (like in the oven), or just use it fresh?
