Hello!
I've heard that citric acid in liquid soap will reduce soap scum. Have you found this to be true? Also, how much do I put in liquid soap? I know you have to super precise in adding citric acid and I do have a coin scale that measures to the thousandths place. I also make small batches - about 8 cups total liquid soap.

Thank you for your advice.

I don't really think that you could put enough in your liquid soap for it to reduce soap scum. You really can only add a tiny amount before it will start breaking up your soap.

I did read some stuff about using citric acid as a chelating agent but don't recall the details - it was a long time ago that I read it.

If you find anything let us know!

(Might be easier to use EDTA, tho some don't want to use it)
