Cinnamon EO making soaps leak?

So, I've done two soaps with two different cinnamon EOs (same recipe, same method), and both soaps are leaky. whereas my other soaps have no such issue. I used 1% cinnamon EO.

has anyone else noticed this problem?

Yes! My only soap that still weeps has cinnamon eo as well. I only used .5% cinnamon eo mixed with a couple fo's and it does it. I also used cocoa powder in it and thought it might be that but I have done cocoa powder in other batches and it didn't seep. I think this might be my only batch with cinnamon eo so it must be the eo.

omg. I'm so glad someone responded!!! I'm glad it's not just me!!! I wonder what the secret is to stop the oil slick....

Ugh, I have no clue. I pat them down with a cloth all the time and they just keep sweating.

I made these on 5/14 and still sweating!

I have used cinnamon leaf and/or bark EO in lots of soaps, and have never had an issue. I use up to 0.3 oz PPO with no problems.

my cut soaps don't seem sweaty anymore.... i'll have to use cinnamon in another batch and see what happens.....
