I always start Christmas on the day before Thanksgiving - when I start baking pies and rolls for our dinner. I play Elvis Christmas and Frank Sinatra Christmas, or I put on fave Christmas movies. This year we had a wind storm and all our power has been knocked out for a couple of days. The kids came over and we worked on a puzzle by candlelight. So I figure that's the best gift of all, time with our loved ones! And you can't get more Christmas than that!!

We’re heading to Arizona today for a week with family. At some point earlier this week I finally accepted that I am not making shampoo bars in time for Christmas gift giving this year

The Christmas shopping is done, but we are packing to head to my parents AND prepping Gaius to stay home without us for Christmas!
