It does have cornstarch in it. I'm with @ResolvableOwl though. If you can control your amounts more intentionally why not? Similar to cooking as well. Controlling salt for ex, that seems to be in every single thing. Then there's the iodine issue. Too much too little. What a pain.

@TheGecko I'm exhausted just reading that 😜 but great to do. Would be super convenient to have on hand.
 
I’m one that uses powdered sugar in all my soap. It doesn’t speed trace, and it does give lovely bubbles I feel.

I would agree that heat had the most to play in this one, as while I am someone who will do a OPW with a thicker trace then others, it would be nearly impossible to sling pudding.
