Castile soap. cure time

When I say castile soao, I am referencing 100% olive oil soap with maybe an essential added. I was watching a video yesterday from LA fille DE LA mer. I think I remember her saying she cures it for 12 months.

Seems like a long time. anyone else cure this long?


On a side note. I was surprised by how much melt and pour she does.

Yup. Longer is even nicer. Castille makes salt bars look speedy

Yep, I do and I also cure salt bars a min of 1 year, 2 years for salt bars is even better

Yes, that was the point.
(Longer is nicer, and both castille and salt bars require a long cure.)

Her melt and pour is interesting ... I like her molds
