Can't seem to get it right

This is my third batch of soap that I've made where I left it cure for at least for weeks for it to still give me the tingles after using it.

I superfat my soap and it passes a lye test - but everytime I give it a run; I get that tingly reaction.

Jus trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

are you using EO's or FO's for scent, or is it unscented?

Hey there - both. One batch I tested, I used tea tree EO. The other batch was simply a FO. I just don't get it...if it passes the zap test and the PH strips shows that it isn't too lye heavy; I wonder where that reaction is coming from.

How much tea tree did you add to your batch? Usually tea tree causes a little tingle. Perhaps you added too much.

What % superfat (lye discount) do you use?

Could you post your recipe - maybe that would help us to troubleshoot.
