Candle Jar Engraving

Does anyone have any advice on how achieve this example of adding personal messages on candles jars?

This won't be engraving; but you can use stencils and glass-frost spray to create a picture or message on the jar.

This is a painted glass candle jar, you can achieve the look by using a stencil, or masking tape to create the message you want, and then painting over it! Once the paint is dry, you can peel away your stencil and then seal it.
