The 50lb bags of lye will fit in 5 gal buckets. I bought the bright orange ones at home depot so my granddaughter knows not to touch the orange bucket. I do mark it well also. Before I master batched my lye I would fills some empty 2 lb lye bottles so I am not always taking off the lid of my big buckets. Now I master batch 2-3 gallons at a time so I do not fill as many of the 2 lb bottles. To purchase from Gallade you will need to prove you are a soapmaker. They accepted my resale license if I remember correctly and you have to pick it up in a vehicle with a closed trunk. Using the same vehicle each time also helps. They keep a record of the vehicle license
