Can liquid fabric softener be made.

I have been searching and searching and not finding anything of fabric softeners. Ive made laundry detergent so Im sure it exsist. If someone know of a recipe or where I can research this more, please chime in.

I personally don't use fabric softener, I don't like what it does (builup, repel, etc) but I've heard vinegar makes a great fabric softener. Maybe you can start with that and build upon it. I haven't personally tried it though, just a suggestion
