Caffe Latte drop swirl

Well, as I zoom in, I now know I should slow down and tidy up my edges for future pics.
Anyways, I got a free bottle of Caffe Latte FO from Brambleberry on an order so here is my Goat Milk soap I made with half of it. It’s got cappuccino mica and black oxide with a base natural soap. Did a drop swirl on this one.
I’d love your feedback and tips to make the next batch with this FO even better. Thanks in advance and happy soaping, friends!

I agree with MrsZ it looks purple to me. It is a really pretty drop swirl. I vaguely remember some Cappucino micas getting a mauvy color in cp soaps. Where did you get your mica? You mention using black oxide, my black oxide was always really black.

It’s cappuccino mica from BB. Any ideas to make it move brown-brown next time? I have a brown pigment, but last time it turned grey

I use cocoa powder to get a nice brown color.

I'm really surprised to hear you used BB cappuccino mica and black oxide! Cappuccino mica is one of my favorites, I use it all the time, but it's brown for me like below. And your base soap is so white. I'm so curious what happened there. Anywho, good job!

Lol, maybe it’s my photography. I think it looks brown in real life, but I just showed Hubby again and he sees blue and grey - LOL!

Maybe it was my lighting in my original photo or maybe the colors have adjusted in a day, but today the “white” aka natural is more creamy caramel and the brown looks more brown to me.

Wow. Isn't soap fascinating to watch it evolve? There's the brown and black I was anticipating!
