I was looking at some of my older soap pictures and it occured to me that the soap I made with carrot juice would be a great color for a butterscotch candy-scented soap. WSP has a butterscotch candy FO. The only thing would be if the vanilla in the FO discolored it to much.

Wow your white soap rocks ,I love the starkness of it .( I am jealous too , I cannot make white soap  ) The golden color , butterscotch oh yeah ! perfection :D

I cant make ice white soap either - and I dont have access to TD! So add my jealousy to Kitn's!

Thanks! Unfortunately, that's a really old picture and I don't know what recipe I did there but it sure is white. I'm hoping I have notes somewhere with the recipe. I do know that I did not add TD or anything to whiten it.

You could also use the vanilla stabilizer from Bitter Creek North. I think the butterscotch idea is great.

You're right, that color looks perfect for butterscotch and the white is beautiful.

I think I'm going to have to do it! Fun!

Is the vanilla stabilizer from Bitter Creek better than others, like WSP?

I've never used any from WSP. I bought the Bitter Creek one based on recommendations here and the fact that it was recommended for CP. I'd be guessing if I thought it was better.

Ok, I'm seeing that most of the stabilizers are for M & P.

Anybody know what's in it?
