Breaking down usage amounts

I'll admit, my math skills suck. I cannot function without a calculator and can never remember formulas. Laugh if you will but it is just how I am! What is the formula to determine how many ounces to use of an FO? I am making solid lotions in 2oz twist tubes and my FO usage for lotions is 1-2%. How do I determine how many ounces to use? Thanks in advance

Take the total weight of your recipe in ounces. Multiply by .01 for 1% use rate or .02 for 2% use rate. There's your amount.

I like to Google "percentage calculator" to use an online tool. I think http:www.percentagecalculator.net is my goto site. It has both ways: X% of Y = Z and Z = X% of Y. Very handy!
