Body butter recommendation

Dahlia, if she is melting her butters and using an emulsifier, then water soluble products are OK to use. Check out Susan's blog for a recipe:

If she is doing the cold, whipped body butter, then water soluble products won't work.

Hi Isg she uses water or hydro sols in her b butter, I actually know this post by heart thanks for linking it. If allantoin is not dissolved in water it becomes like very sharp shards

If I'm not too late, my (ahem) mature skin would love a mix of all four of those oils: apricot kernel, rosehip, jojoba, primrose. If you have a 4 oz bottle with pump or dispenser cap, I would combine them and gift them as a facial oil blend, unscented.

I ended up using rosehip, primrose and jojoba in a roller bottle, I made one for myself and like it very much! The body butter was mango and shea butters, jojoba, apricot kernel and a little argon. It seems. Dry nice!

Isg , oat protein and allantoin is water soluble so for anhydrous products it is not good, Only if she has oil soluble. I use allantoin in every facial lotion. It is awesome

Yeah, If you add allantoin to an anhydrous product, it becomes grainy.. ask me how I know!

actually, if not dissolved well in water it can make a small cuts in your skin

^^^it can definitely cause sharp shards if no dissolved. I would also like to recommend telling the person trying the butter to patch test first. Evening Primrose sent me to urgent care. Any new product a person uses should be tested on a small area, inside the elbow works well.
