black walnut hull extract for soap

Does anybody have any experience using black walnut hulls (extract) in soap making? I have read about good skin uses including poison ivy treatments.:roll:

I've used black walnut hull tea for coloring, can't tell you if it has any affect on the skin though.

I sometimes use black walnut hull powder as a natural colorant for brown. Can't say it has had any effect on relieving poison ivy.
