Very interesting! I feel like BB sometimes buries info on their website - like this and their list of "water white" FOs.

Now, if vanillin is a natural organic compound and companies use vanillin in their FOs - why can't we use vanillin to scent our soaps rather than FOs containing vanillin?

Sometimes you'll get a FO with vanilla in its name, that doesn't contain any vanillin! A lot of the Black Raspberry Vanillas don't have any vanilla! And I was just looking at NGC's Strawberry Daiquiri earlier, and though they list vanilla in the description, it's still at 0% vanillin.
