best prices for essential oils?

i have been searching this forum and google for essential oils such as lavender, sandalwood etc... where do you soap makers recommend i buy essential oils for a decent price?? im sure its much cheaper buying it by the gallon, but i dont need that much right now.

i dont use eos much, but i think new directions has good prices.

yep, New Directions has good prices - but I buy by the pound so I'm not sure how they stack up for smaller amounts.

You might want to try looking at http://www.saffireblue.ca

New Directions is backed up at the moment. I ordered from them two weeks ago and they only sent out the package late yesterday. Hopefully, I'll receive it on Monday.

Also, try comparing some of the EOs prices. I find that most of the "common" i.e. lavender, chamomile, peppermint, etc. are way cheaper than New Directions. BUT, I have not ordered from saffireblue yet so I don't know how much they charge for shipping.

how much did you pay for shipping, and for how big package was it?

I paid about 150 us dollars for shippment that was about 5 kilos of essential oils, as for the taxes I paid about 70 us dollars as the taxes are lower on food items but I think it was just luck it wasnt taxed as a cosmetic item.
