Is it even possible to make a lotion bar without beeswax? Maybe up the cocoa butter or am I dreaming? Can't stand the waxy draggy feeling but love the concept.
 
you can try other waxes. candelilla and carnauba are slicker.
to just skip wax would be difficult if you want to use any oils or softer butters. maybe if you stick with cocoa and kokum butters, though. maybe.
 
I think you would need some type of wax. Without it, I think you would wind up with more of a body butter than a bar? I'm not sure because i've never made either, but it was a thought..
 
If you eliminate the wax, I wouldn't add any or much liquid oil to the recipe. And again, stick to hard butters like cocoa butter. I think it's worth a try and should work if sticking to hard butters.
