BB's Mayan Gold

Have any of you tried this? I just got some in and I think they sent me the wrong fragrance. It smells like Moroccan Mint if I had to guess, just like a nice minty tea. That doesn't match the description at all on the website. So I'm just wondering if any of you have tried it and how it smelled oob. Thanks.

Golly I have a 2lb batch of soap made with BB's Mayan Gold and no way does it have even a whiff of mint to it. This is very strange. Maybe they have changed the formula. My soap turned tan, I suspect a bit of vanilla in the scent. It has a sexy, warm, oriental spice kind of aroma to it. I used 1 ounce per pound and it was a bit too strong for my taste. After a good long cure, the scent mellowed out. I wonder if you did indeed get a mislabel.

Yeah that's why I think I got the wrong scent. This one is nothing but mint. No hint of anything else... no spices, patchouli, nothing.

I'm assuming I did. I've never bought Mayan Gold before, but it matches the scent description on BB's site. Very earthy smelling oob, interested to see how it comes out in soap.
