Has anyone tried adhesive glue dots on the back of their band style labels to help keep them from slipping off the bars during shrinking? Just a thought I had and wonder if it would work or if it would discolor the soap in any way? I know they have adhesive paper you can buy, but I can't find the right color to please me, so i just print mine at home and cut them into strips. I do a 2" band and wrap my square bars so that you can see the design above and below the label. I would love to use the shrink bands over the label, but am hearing they will sometimes wrinkle if the soap hasnt cured for a LONG time.

I use Kraft paper, cut it so the soap shows on top and bottem. I wrap it around my soap, rub a little gluestick on it to glue closed. I then tie a piece of rafia ribbon around that.
