Hopefully this turns out. It won't be quite like I wanted it because I almost forgot the fragrance so trace got too thick for the swirl I wanted by the time I had it mixed in. Scented with Bamboo Lotus from WSP and colored with spinach powder and a coral mica.

Oh wow. I might get to unmold it tonight. It's already quite firm and has pulled away from the sides of the mold cleanly.

i can't comment on the soap yet since it ain't cut, but i just wanna say that i have the exact same mold. it's from etsy, right? the one with a wood piece on top? :D

:( it crumbled when I tried to cut it.. Otherwise I actually kind of liked how the inside turned out. It wasn't the swirl I wanted but it looks nice.

Pretty pictures! That's why I chose the colors I did. I was hoping it would resemble something like that. And I was actually pretty p.leased with the look of it. Too bad it crumbled :/

But so far I'm pleased with the soap itself. Even being only 2 days old its very mild. And I kind of like the "technique" I stumbled upon to make a salt bar. I'm intrigued and plan to try to replicate the results today (with a better outcome lol).

What mould is that from eBay/etsy?I wouldn't worry about the crumbling too much. It is still a beautiful soap, did you use clay?

No, no clay. Salt that I added to the water didn't dissolve completely when I thought it had. I actually ended up with a salt bar which is why it crumbled. I have to say, I kind of like it. Hopefully my next try will get cut in time and won't crumble.

As for the mold, ebay is having problems at the moment so I can't get the link. I'll post it when I can.

Here it is:
