I am happy with this one so far.It was a very sunny day first time in a few days with the old solar energy pouring into my batteries , power to burn.So I decided to rebatch some of the plain white soap I did over the weekend in the hot pot.I was filling up the molds when I thought I would try out the Aspen Winter fragrance that had been added to an order from Big Tree Supplies.
I had been asked what it was like and sniffing the bottle ,also buring some in an oil burner hadn't really impressed me. I added it to about 700 grams of the soap and whoopy Doo, a smell of fresh pine needles hit me along with A vision of John Denver singing Rocky Mountain High. Of course I quickly added some Aqua Marine colour to some of it.
I think I got lucky here.
It will be Aqua and white of course and Yes I will take a photo tomorrow.
The rest is still left white for my mothers day pink rebatch when I get some liquid Brites.

Pine needles sounds lovely....I think I will add it to my next Big Trees Order and try it out too. Do you think it will blend well with other fragrances too? Or does it already have a complex blend within itself? (does that make sense...? :? )

Tanya :)

To me it is Heaven just as it is.
Should hold the fragrance if it is a pre mix?
I must confess here that I am a tree climber from way back.
Not that I have done so for a little while. There are no notworthy ,climbing ones up here.
So maybe it is the wonderfull memories that I am enjoying. Cradled in tree limbs alone with my dreams.
