I know how to make the shape, but have not figured out how the kids can actually write on the walls with the soap. (Not sure I'd want them too anyway! LOL
But to make the shap all you have to do is get one of those round tube ice trays that you use for water bottles, and then carve the ends to a point. (I use a candle taper shaper = looks like a large pencil sharpener)
The kids love them and they don't care that they don't write on the walls.
so, then you must have to make so many different colored batches of soap for each color of crayon & need lots & lots of molds, right.......& do they play with them in the tub. Sorry for the questions, but not sure about these.
There is a tutorial on youtube on how to make these, and they use Wilton gel colours to colour them. I have made them before (using the youtube recipe) and they do work!
Lots and lots of molds? No. I have one mold that I use. It's an ice cube tray of tubes that is used for water bottles and has like like 20 tubes in them.
I've never used the Wilton food coloring. I'll have to try that.
