Anybody Tried NG's Dragons Blood FO?

i've smelled the DB from SGS and i love it but would like to know if anybody has tried it from NG? they have it cheaper, and i'm all about prices, but i don't want to buy it if it isn't as good as what SGS sells. anybody have an idea??

I just got a sample of NG's Dragon's Blood, but haven't soaped it yet. I have no idea what SGS's smells like so I can't compare, but I like the smell. I'm really bad at describing scents, but I guess I'd say it's kind of a spicey, musky, earthy smell. That may be totally off, but it's a nice scent OOB.

thanks for the reply. since i was ordering from NG anyway i took the chance and ordered a bottle of DB, too. i'm hoping it will be as good as what i have from SGS and from what you say i think it will be pretty close. maybe after we both soap that we can compare notes then on how we like it. i LOVE the one from SGS!!!!! just be forewarned that it does discolor to a very deep brownish red color.

i finally got around to soaping this fragrance and it came out beautiful!! the soap smells exactly like what i had from SGS. i can't tell any difference in the two at all. i'm thinking they may be from the same supplier. i used TD to keep it from darkening and then swirled in the pot to make a beautiful soap. it's on the cure rack now and i'm watching to see if it darkens at all. it's been over a week now and nothing so far. great scent!!!!
