Anybody bought from Wellington?

Seems like their prices are really reasonable,
8 oz frag oils for $8- $10 approx , most of the frag oils I get are that much for only 4 oz.
But I wonder how good they are.

I bought from them 2 years ago and then they said you could use the mid grade for everything and i did and never had any problems , candle soap or lotion. Now they say you need to buy the premium grade for soy candles? I don't know whats up with that. So I didn't buy from them this last week. I ordered from Lonestar candle. They don't have much info on cp for their fragrances but do list if they are skin safe. I'll be trying them this coming week . HTH

I'm thinking of ordereing from them for a designer dupe fragrance for a friend. I'll be looking forward to see what others have to say about their fragrances.

I just bought a bunch of sample sizes, quite a few of the designer dupes. They soaped wonderful. Just used them last week, so I can't say how they will hold up. I used the manufacturer and premium grades.

Which designer dupes did you get? A friend of mine wants the opium designer-dupe is a batch of soap, and it's also my mother's perfume so I'm that's the one I'm mostly interested in.

Like I said, just soaped them so I don't know how they will hold up. I know many ppl use them with no problems...so I wanted to try them out for myself.

But, if you buy larger amounts of FO, their prices are very close to NG. So if NG has the FO, I would probably still order from NG. But, Wellington has a HUGE variety...lots of Designer dupes too...which I like!

i bought from them once. i made the mistake of not reading the fine print, and ordered the cosmetic grade, which is not up to the task of soaping. so now i have a boxful of FOs that are useless for soaping, and i'll never make enough other stuff to use it up. and they don't take returns or exchanges. sigh. lesson learned -- READ THE FINE PRINT AND ORDER THE CORRECT GRADE!

I had this happen as well and I found out just AFTER I placed my order what the difference was. I emailed them quickly to ask if they could change the grade I got and they actually said that they had already seen that I ordered soap making supplies and were already changing it for me. They must have that happen a lot. Lol.

Anyway, I havent tested out any of the FOs I got yet in a CP batch, but my M&P came out great. Same as any other places I buy from. I will caution you NOT to put over the amount of FO in your product because I did that by accident (as a newbie) and skin burned horribly. I should have known something was wrong because the body wash base I used the FO with was separating or something... looked really weird... But thats my experience with Wellington.

Most of the bad reviews are by the same couple people....I soaped their Lavender manufactures grade over 2 years ago and can still smell it. Just make sure You buy the grade needed for your purposes. The website explained this way back then and still does today. I have to say I soaped a coconut lime verbana last night from another company that has no scent at all this morning. Doesn't mean all that companies F.O.'s are crap.
